                                  TRIPPING GRASS RAKE

Originally built as a special for a local customer, the Tripping Grass Rake can still be supplied to order. Based on a design similar to the old style of horse rake, this modern version, with a clever landwheel driven tripping action, is ideal for working in smaller areas, being the perfect tool for swathing hay, raking- off cut material from conservation areas and clearing up behind cutter bar mowers.

A standard working width of 5 feet (1.5m) ensures good work rates, other widths available upon request.

The tines are independently hinged to allow contour following, and are easily replaced should they become damaged.

Adjustments are provided for tine angle and the 50mm ball hitch is also adjustable to change tine height.

Tripping is achieved by pulling on the trip cord, this engages the drive to the tine frame and releases the lock latch, the tines then rotate dropping their load. Releasing the cord lets the tines return to work.
